| Customer Reviews: Terrible! May 29, 2008 R. J. Martinez (USA) 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
This was a terrible DVD to say it kindly. I caught my thoughts wandering while watching it. It did not keep my attention, rather I think I was bored by it. The terrible classical music that seems to constantly play mixed with Mr. Shatners monotone voice nearly put this DVD in the garbage.
I am biased-I was a snowshoer in the movie... December 6, 2004 Cobby (Stillwater, MN) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
In my humble opinion this movie plays to the greatest strength of all IMAX films-it is a stunningly visual display of the continual seasonal changes that my home state of MN is known for. Frigid winters, humid summers and wonderful transitional months in between.
I only wish they had included more "IMAX" scenes when you feel like you are actually flying over the landscape and your stomach is down somewhere around your feet.
It is fun to watch this and look back at my childhood with fond memories.
Poor Imax documentary August 24, 2003 John Ranold (NorthHollywood, CA United States) 6 out of 9 found this review helpful
Imax Documentaries as compared to say BBC or Discovery Channel documentaries are low on substance and big on camera footage. In the case of "Seasons", there are no breathtaking footages or even interesting shots of anything. Not to say that this documentary doesn't cover anything, but for $..., I expected more than what a sixth grader already knows.
