Kem Plastic Playing Cards is a 60-year-old company specializing in one product-playing cards which are 100% cellulose acetate plastic. Kem plastic playing cards contain no vinyl, which is the raw material used by all other playing card manufacturers for their "plastic" playing cards. A set-up consists of one black deck and one gold deck. The cards come in a hard black plastic Kem box. One joker is present with each deck. The dimensions of the cards are 2-1/2 inches wide x 3-1/2 inches tall.(Poker Size) KEM cards can handle the wear and tear like no other brand of card in the industry. This is my 2nd deck of KEM's and the last time I had a purchase a set was in 2003. I am perfectly content with a 7 year shelf life for playing cards. I have played with Copag's before and these remain my personal preference. Suffle and deal once and you'll be sold on them. They are crisp, smooth, and endure the wear and tear of tournaments and drinking games alike. They are not indestructible, but their durability is what makes them worth the price. I finally had to retire my first deck after the ace of spades started to fleck off a bit and one card got a slit along the side (after 6-7 years of respectable use). You can re-order individual cards but I felt it was just time to get two new decks. I agree that the plastic holder they come with leaves something to be desired, but I found two great hand-made wooden card cases on-line from Thailand. Give up the paper cards and these will pay for themselves over the course of a few years (or months, depending how often you play).

I won't waste my time buying any other cards! Kem cards shuffle the best, don't bend, and last the longeest.

KEM Arrow Red and Blue Poker Size Jumbo Index Playing Cards are great looking cards. People love these cards due to there easy to read numbers. Very easy to shuffle compared to paper cards.
Definately glad I got these over the "regular" sized fonts. I would highly recommend buying these as I'm sure they will last more than a few years under monthly use.

KEM cards are great for constant playing. Poker games go smoothly with these easy to handle plastic cards. Buying these cuts down on having to purchase regular cards often. The don't bend and cannot be easily marked by a bend or crease.
